Roundtable Event
About Us
We are a group of 14 independent consultants, entrepreneurs and professionals who have formed a social enterprise to help small and socially-responsible businesses. We provide expertise/advice, resources, support as well as networking opportunities to entrepreneurs so that entrepreneurs can develop their businesses.
Why do we do this?
Some harness this as a way to promote their services to the community in a
low-key
fashion.
Others simply wish to give back to the community
Our values:
Sustainability - businesses should be socially responsible or open to learning about how to be sustainable
Fairness - we try encourage fair and just participation when possible
Ethics - all consultants are bound by codes of conduct.
Organization history
In 2008, Grant Lowe and Harvey Weisfeld, two professional consultants, started this association to provide a way for independent business consultants to collaborate together.
From our fans (in process of being updated)
"I truly got the experience of the roundtable as it help me focus on my target market and the ideas that came out of it were very helpful. The fact that we meet like-minded people really hits home when it come to connecting and creating partnerships. I totally enjoyed it! Thank you for inviting me and I will be back."

Brain Possibilities
(attendee at Roundtable on Effective Communications-Leading with your "Why" -Dec. 1/10)
I learned from
Entrepreneur Advisory Roundtable #6 to be
more patient (cultivating process) and a deeper understanding for the value of marketing.
The best thing is to be authentic.
“Sell myself” and my story is the key point to success in my life as an entrepreneur.
In my presentation, I must bring to the customer's table the unique sustainable value (like presented at last roundtable).
I understand more now.
People “buy” based on my character, my strong personal beliefs and my passion to help them with their challenges.
Another area becoming clearer is the weight of my personal obstacles.
I’ll continue to work on my marketing skills and on my mindset.
Through this process, the guests (students/“to be successful entrepreneurs”) were lead by experts.
In our group we were talking about business collaboration, referrals and how to build business’ relationships.
Thanks to all who organized and ran the event.
