Mission: To help support entrepreneurs and socially-responsible businesses by providing resources and guidance
We are a group of independent consultants and other experienced professionals that collaborate to help businesses and entrepreneurs with their business issues and challenges.
We provide our support through offering regular Roundtable (**) events where you can attend and be a part of discussion with experts and your peers in the following possible areas:
- Sales, marketing (eg. Pink Spoon (tm) sample marketing techniques)
- Social media (eg. Twitter (tm), Facebook (tm), etc.)
- Management strategy
- Sustainability
- Finance (sponsorship, loans, investor capital, grants via Foundations or Government sources)
- Procurement, supplier relations
- Human Resources
** Roundtable -pertains to collaborative style of workshop facilitation. What typically happens during a roundtable:
- Short segment educating the participants about theme to be discussed during the event
- Two or three business cases (submitted in advance by participants) are discussed by the consultants in a panel-style format; Potential solutions and resources to help are discussed
- Breakout session- the large group breaks into smaller groups into subthemes
- The individual groups then come back together where the there is an opportunity for participants/consultants to provide final thoughts (ie their experience and/or the one key thing that they learned at the event)
